"For art to exist, for any sort of aesthetic activity to exist, a certain physiological precondition is indispensable: intoxication" -Friedrich Nietzsche

Thomas sent me Pachelbel Canon when I lived in Etowah. That seems so long ago that I have a little difficulty remembering it exactly. He said something about a ring, but it wasn't in the package. It seems that we discussed that sometime after the package arrived, and that he changed his mind because of a size issue, but I'm not sure now. He said that listening to Pachelbel Canon is like listening to the angels as we ascend to heaven after mortal death.

I have a picture of Thomas in his shop playing his guitar. I think that is my favorite picture of all because he looks so naturally content.

Then someone else spoke to me about sage honey and sent me a zen valentine...of all that I have forgotten when the abcess ruptured, I am so grateful those memories remain.

Men assume the most interesting disguises

I sent a package to Sigga for her birthday and it was returned to me today. I sent it using the machine in the foyer of the post office. It weighs the package and prints postage for the country desired. Apparently one must fill out forms for even a simple package, so I will go to Post Office Monday, fill out the forms and resend it.

I wanted to do something special for Anna. Her Nona (Beth's mom) put together a beautiful keepsake album of her moments leading up to and including her birth. VERY cool =)
I am going to write a Dear Anna journal about my experiences and stuff associated with returning to school at 55 that will include the thoughts and process of actually getting on path, and the experiences through the degree processes. When I told Lala about it she got excited and said I should make it a Dear Lala and Anna journal. Ha Ha...good idea!

I prefer to be called Nanna, which doesn't have the short a sound in it, but rather a soft a in both a's. It is Scottish, of course. Don't think I ever heard Grandma or Granpa when in Scotland. I heard Grand-da, Pap (that is what I called mine). I called my Great-grandmother "Mam".

I am not speaking to Rex
Danny wants me to go to dinner with him today...I don't see the point really
Steve said that Chris is wanting to "reach out to" me....hmmm

Chris is the favorite of Mike, Beth, Wa, and Steph

I don't think I like waffles

G'night sweetheart...
