Tea and Stones

Alice is closing down third shift at the restaurant. Due to the now present staffing dilemma on the other two shifts, O.W. has 2 four hour shifts next week. Alice has asked O.W. not to quit, and predicts four or five days in a couple of weeks. Yeah, ya know people don't work because they need the money to like pay bills, get dogs annual shots, buy groceries, put gas in the truck to keep doctor's appointments, which have been sheduled to accommodate the work schedule *sheesh*. Damn, if we didn't work for the money to pay for those little life necessities she'd be working the restaurant by herself and we'd all be at a Harley Davidson sponsored outdoor concert in Maryville, or hanging out at the house with a tall cold glass of something and dedicating all that time toward the academic endeavor. breathe...breathe...breathe...

The main thing is to remain in an attitude of gratitude and NOT cry...
